12

weeks for the cohort-based leadership certification

  • AI Ready AssessmentStart here. For the executive about to sign for a scribe, model, or platform

A two-to-four-week, multi-rater assessment of whether your workforce, workflows, data, and board can absorb a specific AI deployment: 72 items across six domains, rated by 15 to 25 people across leadership, clinical, and IT. You receive a scored report, the gaps that would sink the rollout, and a sequenced plan, and the results tell you which of the three tiers below to deploy where.

Fixed fee from CA$12,000. Founding client terms open until December 31, 2026. Full details and pricing

  • AI Ready FluencyA micro-credential. Tier 1, for every frontline clinician and staff member

A self-paced micro-credential covering what AI tools in health actually do, where they fail, what the professional and regulatory obligations are in Canada, and how to work safely alongside a scribe, a decision-support model, or an automated workflow. Four units and a knowledge check, completed in about four hours, with a completion badge.

Self-paced, online. Delivered under licence in-house, or through a partner professional association.

  • AI Ready LeadershipA 12-week certification. Tier 2, for the managers and clinical leaders who must run an implementation

A twelve-week, competency-based certification for the people accountable for making an AI deployment land: readiness diagnosis, workflow redesign, workforce engagement, change leadership, vendor management, evaluation, and the human factors evidence that explains why most health technology projects stall after go-live. Assessed on a portfolio of real implementation artifacts, not a multiple-choice exam.

Cohort-based, blended. Twelve weeks. Employer-funded. Renewal pathway included.

  • AI Ready GovernanceA board intensive. Tier 3, for boards, executive teams, and senior medical and nursing leadership

A one-day executive intensive (or two half-days) in six sessions: what the board is accountable for when AI enters clinical care, the Canadian regulatory landscape, risk and liability, procurement questions that protect the organization, oversight metrics, and the decisions that belong at the board table. Participants leave with an eight-artifact governance toolkit.

In person or virtual. Delivered directly by BioMD Consulting. From CA$8,000, confirmed after a scoping call.

Why this program

AI Ready: four parts, from Assessment to Governance Assessment2 to 4 weeks Fluencyevery staff member Leadership12 weeks Governanceboard intensive The Assessment tells you which of the three tiers to deploy where

There is no Canadian competency-based credential for the human side of AI adoption in health. The technical training exists. The change leadership does not.

AI Ready was built to fill that gap. Every load-bearing claim in the curriculum is traced to a primary source: Canadian regulation and professional standards, published deployment evidence from health systems, and the human factors and implementation science literature. The framework is profession-neutral, so the same competencies can be credentialed for nurses, physicians, allied health, and administrators.

The program is currently under evaluation with a provincial nursing association as the issuing body for the nursing credential, with content validation planned through a formal Delphi study with academic partners. Organizations can license the program for in-house delivery now, ahead of that validation cycle.

Three ways to bring it in

License the program in-house. Fluency for the many, certification for your implementation leaders, governance for your board, delivered inside your organization on your timeline. Best for hospitals, health authorities, and large operators with a named AI rollout ahead.

Start with the Assessment. Run the AI Ready Assessment first, then use the results to decide which tiers to deploy where. Most clients start here.

Through a partner association. Where a professional association issues the credential, individual members can enrol directly. Ask us which associations are live.

Bring the tool, the timeline, and the thing you are worried about. Thirty minutes is enough to tell you whether we can help, and what it would cost.
